A note from the team at Anord Mardix...
The Luleå project has been one of the biggest and most prestigious projects Anord Mardix has had the pleasure of working on so far.
From the initial design and BIM stage by our engineers, to the fabrication of the core components at our site at WS1, before finally assembling and testing the switchgear at B1 - this project has seen almost all service and product offerings from Anord Mardix!
Due to the modular nature of this particular project, our team has had to work hard and communicate effectively with those in and out of the business to ensure that the project ran as smooth as possible. We have had the pleasure of working with some fantastic businesses and from all of our team we have really appreciated the support in completing this project. If you'd like to read more about modular design in a project, why not read our latest blog article which explains it - the devil's really in the detail!
The Anord Mardix team are not a group of people who work together, but a group of people who trust each other. It's the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.
Lloyd Keenan - Lead Site Manager
The project has given us the opportunity to pioneer in new strategies such as utilising the heat shrink wrap technology to safely wrap and ship our modular skids, as well as understand how best to coordinate the quality construction of 6 colossal switchrooms.
