New Anord Mardix facility in Dundalk

D1 BECOMES THE LATEST ADDITION TO THE ANORD MARDIX TEAM IN IRELAND

Anord Mardix has officially opened phase one of its new purpose-built 91,000 sq/ft facility at Tanola House, Coes Road, Dundalk.

This €4.5m investment represents a continued commitment to ensuring production capacity exceeds the requirements of clients now and into the future and is part of the overall long- term investment plan. It will bring the fabrication and assembly of their innovative power distribution equipment under one roof, along with housing global office functions.

With nine manufacturing facilities across Europe, Asia and the USA, with more in development, Anord Mardix will continue to be a leading provider to the global data centre industry and a vendor of choice to many of the world’s cloud computing / data centre players.

Our production capacity will double and our new sheet metal and copper fabrication machinery along with a state-of-the-art powder coating paint facility installed at D1 is set to rival those in any industry.

In addition, this purpose-built facility will enable us to scale our production to meet the needs of our clients and reduce the time to market, as well as bringing our workforce to 250 in Ireland.

Minister Paschal Donohoe was invited to officially open the facility.

The data centre market has seen unprecedented global growth year on year and Anord Mardix are not only meeting the needs of this new global economy but allowing global companies to see Ireland as a launch pad to Europe.

In other news, James Peacock has been appointed as Global CEO of Anord Mardix, as Kevin Finegan retires after 45 years of long standing service.
